Castaways Resort and Spa Mission Beach has varying choice of accommodation options in either the Beachfront property, or the Rainforest property which is a short walk from Reception.

Beachfront Resort Rooms are perfect for a couple or a small family with 1 queen bed and 1 single. All rooms have bathrooms with a choice of shower or bath and private balcony or garden patio overlooking the beautiful beach, Coral Sea and Dunk Island. Sleeps up to 3 guests.

Beachfront Coral Sea Resort Rooms feature a queen size bed a tropical style decor, bathroom with choice of shower or bath and an extended balcony with a day bed and stunning views over the beach, Coral Sea and Dunk Island. A spacious room perfect for couples. Sleeps max 2 guests.

Beachfront Family Resort Room are ideal for the active family - the Family Resort rooms feature two separate rooms. The main living area has a queen size bed and stunning views of the Coral Sea from the private balcony. The second bedroom has two single beds – great for the kids! Spacious bathroom with shower. All rooms are beachfront and feature bi-folding doors that open the whole main room to a private balcony or garden patio with views of the beach through coconut palms, Coral Sea and Dunk Island. Sleeps a family of 4 2Ad2Ch, or 4 Adults (fees apply).

Beachfront Two Bedroom Spa Apartments feature an open plan living, lounge and kitchen area with kitchenette facilities and access to your private balcony overlooking the Coral Sea. The master bed room has a queen bed and bathroom with in-room spa and the second bedroom holds a single bed. Fold-out sofa bed available in the lounge room. Sleeps 3.

Beachfront Two Bedroom Apartments are configured with a queen bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in the second room. Spacious bathroom with shower located between the 2 bedrooms. All apartments are beachfront featuring spacious separate lounge/dining room and kitchenette and has a modern and contemporary feel. The apartments also have either a private balcony or patio garden area overlooking the spectacular Coral Sea, Dunk Island and The Family Group of Islands. Space available for roll-away in living room. Sleeps 2Ad2Ch, or up to 4 Adults (fees apply).

Situated absolute beachfront on Mission Beach, Castaways Resort and Spa is a short ten minute walk to the bustling centre of Mission Beach. Here you’ll find several casual little restaurants and cafes serving up a variety of cuisine to be enjoyed on a quaint outdoor patio. BUKO Restaurant and Cocktail Bar

BUKO Restaurant & Bar is now open in one of the most spectacular locations in Australia – tropical north Queensland’s Mission Beach. The centrepiece of Castaways Resort & Spa Mission Beach – unforgettably located on the absolute beachfront of the palm-fringed Coral Sea.

Mission Beach Wedding

Looking for a dream wedding location? Look no further than Palms Conference and Event Centre at Castaways Resort and Spa Mission Beach. This unique and private venue is located next to the main resort. It has been designed and built specifically for Far North Queensland’s tropical climate with indoor and outdoor options available. Natural lighting creates an organic feel to afternoon services, while the soft light in the evening can create a dreamlike effect. There is seating capacity for up to 100 guests on the elevated deck set amongst the stunning gardens. A marquee is available for protection from the elements. Wedding reception facilities include:

Location

Mission Beach is approximately 1.5 hours drive south of Cairns - past Sugarcane fields and tropical covered hills.  Car Hire is highly recommended.  We can assist with Day Tours including Self Drive options including White Water Rafting, Great Barrier Reef Snorkelling & Diving, Scuba Diving Courses and the stunning Paronella Park.
