Location:

Mission Beach is located 1.5 hours south of Cairns and 2.5 hours north of Townsville in Tropical North Queensland, Australia. Traveling from Cairns you will pass through lush farmland valleys and into dense rainforests in the Mission Beach region. From Townsville it is mostly Australian native forests until you reach the Hinchinbrook Channel area 45 minutes south of Mission Beach.
